as long as the spacer or shims are on the heads, whatever they call them. The things that sit down in the head bolt holes! There so you can run them on 302 or 351, for the different size head bolts! I have a set on my 302 but i also have notched pistons. But i have so much clearance between the valves and pistons i dont think it would matter! I also have a custom grind cam from comp. So i dont think you would have an issue. Are they the older style AFR's or are they the newer style?

Are you going to be using these on your car?

Hey about those head bolt shims, anyone got a part # or something? Are these the same that you'd use to put 351W heads onto a 302? I need some.

I am going to say with the stock cam, no problem as long as you stay with 1.6 rockers!! I loved my 185's!:bigthumb

Also about those shims for the head bolts, Craig usually has them in stock!!

I would allways double check Valve clearance even if it should work.
