Things happen for reasons we will never understand.

Yesterday sucked and was wonderful at the same time. Having everyone there was GREAT!! We all loved Vinny and it showed by everyone just being there for each other. THANK YOU so much for everyone letting me vent yesterday. I lost my best friend and I didnt realize exactly how great of a friend he was till he left us forever. I took him forgranted, figuring Ill talk to him tomorrow....First thing learned, dont take friends for granted, call them everynow and then. He made it easy by showing up to the store quite frequently So I assumed he would be stopping by again.

I can look back now, finally without balling, and remember our times together. MAN was he one cool mofo! Just hanging out with him shooting the shit or working on his car, whatever...The guy was just GREAT! Im really gonna miss him, but his memories will last till I go.....


I belive God or Vinny spoke to me this morning. (Not directly:HYF: )
My wife wakes me up at 9am this morning...You pick THIS Sunday to start going to church?? Thanks.
I wasnt looking forward to it at all. I was hung over and not wanting to hear anything GOD said. But I did it for my family.

Church has a way of you hearing what you need to hear. Brian was speaking about Percervenice <sp> and overcoming abstacoles<sp>and how people react to them. He mentioned strong people will rise up to hardships and grow stronger...to percervere.

Well Im here to tell ya, I miss Vinny, but Ill be damned if I let his hard work and his time with us be forgotten or taken for granted.
Ill be needing everyones help, guidance, ideas, shoulder etc etc etc. We will rise from this BAD situation and honor him by doing what we do.....
OWNING THIS FN TOWN!!!

We will continue the cruise ins.
We will continue to meet for no aparent reasons, just "get together"
We will continue the dirty dozen.
The board will continue.

Heres where Ill be needing help.
There WILL BE A STANGBANGERZ TRACK DAY!! Vinny and I always talked about it....Im done crying and Im done Talking. Ill get started on the details tomorrow and make this a priority, to get it done.


So stay tuned, its gonna be a GREAT YEAR for us Stangbangerz. We will honor Vinnys memory by continuing and growing this place we all call Home. With everyones help, we will succeed. We have to, its what Vinny wouldve wanted.

Count me in! I'll help as much as I can. Hopefully the rest of our peeps will accept me like Vinny did (knowing my steed is immobile right now:( ), He saw I had a true love in my heart for all things that are Stang!!! I am currently working on the design for our permanent name tags, Ie: that way we don't have to contend with everyones different hand writing styles, (no offense peeps even my hand writing sucks), Plus it will look more classy. JMO. Hell might even make a special design celebrating out 5th year. Stay tunned for the thread.

I just got my mail, and in it was my stangbangerz decal. I opened it and just looked at it for awhile thinking this was one of the last things vinny did. He had ran out at the cavalcade, and had dave make this for me. So I will put that decal on with pride when my cobra gets back from MD! The stangbangerz must go on!!!:D

I gotta say, I love hanging out with people and talking about cars. Through the years I ran into some car enthusiasts that were very rude and would laugh at you if you asked a stupid question (mainly import guys). The Stangbangerz have been so helpful to me and friendly, even when I asked stupid questions(I'm always learning something new!). I'm glad I had the opportunity to tell Vinny this before he passed. More importantly, I'm glad that the Stangbangerz will continue! I am looking forward to every upcoming event and will do my best to make to each one!
