View Full Version : Nitrous choices for 3 valves

I am strongly considering putting nitrous(75 or 100 shot) on my 06. I have only seen Zex kits on the 3 valves. I like NX and NOS sysytems but, do not know anyone with a 3 valve setup. Anyone have any info or advice before I pull the trigger on a system? Thanks in advance.

I would do a simple zex system. its the easiest set up. I'm sure you can go borrow Bills for awhile and see how you like it :D

I would stay away from the zex kit they don't make the power that an NOS or NX kit will make. I think there kits are overrated like the 100 shot is really a 50.

I am also wondering the same thing... and how do you like the 4.10's? I am thinking of getting 4.30's but my 06 is an automatic (so the wife can drive it too)

i love the 4.10s with my manual. i think 4.30s would be too much, 4.10s may be pushing it. Alot of AT S197 owners are going with 3.73s and happy with them. Good luck. I've heard the above about the Zex kits but only heard no one has been able to give me any numbers or facts yet. I like NX and NOS just don't know anyone with a kit on their car.

I got some good numbers with the ZEX Kit with the 75 shot. Hey Dale it still isn't Black. LOL

The only difference in power between the Zex and NX of NOS systems are that Zex quote flywheel hp numbers and just about everyone else quote rear wheel HP numbers. I've looked at the NX system myself and If I were going the Nitrous route I think that is the one I would go with. I've heard good things about it.
