View Full Version : Any diff in tube and tubeless slicks

Any performance diff , or anything else i should look for.....
The slick im looking at has both to choose from......

With tubes, I think its manditory that the slick is screwed to the rim. Probably not a bad idea anyways.

I have tubeless and I have to constintly put air in them (every3-4 days) I would go with tube it may cost a little more(for the tube) but well worth it my.02

Yup Tubes hold air way better than without. Performance wise- Tubes are heavy they are bad rotating weight. I have to air up my tires about once a week or they would go flat.

You can always do the old school trick and put dish liquid inside the tires before you mount them....that's supposed to really slow down how fast the air leaks through the rubber.
