What year mustang for 16x8 rim

HAd the 16x8 rim on it.. Would it also fit my 04 cobra...
ALso if i was to go from a 16x10 rim to a 16x8 with the same slick 28x10x16 would that efeect the performance of the slick...
Sry new to the slick world so trying to learn as much as poss...:)

I have 16s off a 94 or 95 gt (Waffle wheel) and Im running ET Streets on them 26-10.5-16. They fit but was hard to get on them on the rim. Weather is starting to break we need to hook up for a run:D

I think the slick would have a bigger contact spot with the 16/10 rim. The waffle wheels work fine :bigthumb I e-mailed Weld a few mths ago about some 16 inch wheels for our cars and they said they would have something by mid 2007.

One of the faster cobra on mod fors suggested this setup, he said his buddies were cutting 1.4 60s on stock irs.... SO im going to try it out...
