Maybe this is a stupid question but:

what makes them for drag....or as the user above asked, are they "streetable".

Thanks

Those brakes, (not necessarily wilwood) are very light, and the rotors will warp if you get too much heat into them, like if you do some aggressive street driving. They are ideal for race cars that cool off between rounds.

5 lug are not on clearance....us 4 lug guys finally got some love. I already have a older used set of 4 lug wilwood brakes on the front of my car....they don't make front 4 lug kits anymore...only option is aerospace now for a new set.

Will these work with Elims and does the "drag" rotor have e-brake provisions?

Wish I had some money available... I guess Ill just wait till I go 5 lug and do it all at the same time.

I'm pretty sure they will work with c-clip elims...I run them on my car. They do not have e-brake provisions. Wilwood has a 5 lug rotor version kit that does still have a ebrake.

Got my kit today. Looks real nice. Gonna work on getting them installed tonight. Then stop by CS for the brake line fittings I'm sure I'm gonna need to get them hooked up.

I got my kit from Jegs today..started working on installing it tonight. Kit looks great...very nice stuff...beefy vented rotors. Yes it comes with the mounting brackets to bolt the kit on to the axle flanges. Only real parts you need to get are fittings and a short piece of braided line to connect the stock brake line to the caliper.
*One thing though..if you already have c-clip eliminators on your axles...you will have to do some modification to the bracket that bolts to the axle flange. Ian who is better at engineering/fabrication than me is coming over to look at it tommorrow. But to me it looks like with a little cutting on the bracket...it should fit around the axle tube and be able to mount to the back side of the axle flange instead of the front. That difference is about a 1/2"...just so happens that the spacers wilwood uses between the axle bracket and caliper mounting bracket are about 1/2". So I think I can take out those spacers..and maybe just have to use a few thin washers to get the caliper spaced correctly on the rotor. Nothing is ever a true bolt-on. Now if you don't have c-clip eliminators...you have nothing to worry about..they will bolt right on. If your going to put on c-clip eliminators..you just need to cut less of the axle tube end off (~1/4"..the thickness of the kit's axle mounting bracket)..then it will bolt right up.

Nope..you need a kit for a 9"...big or little bearing size depending on what you used.

Hell Jeff, I don't even remember which size they are. What ever comes with the Strange kit. My point is, I bet those aren't on sale, for my application.
