Excellent numbers Doug I guess in the end what all this means is that technically this puts you in the #6 spot (hopefully updated soon) with now 2 of the Mafia on the DD list. When the time comes for you to spray this thing you'll be deep in the 9's again congratulations but I suspect it's got another tenth in it on the motor. ;)

Went a 10.3 , 10.5 , and a 10.6 in true street on sat. for a 10.5 average. Car didn't like the smaller et streets and nitrous! True street was an f'n blast!!!! Had a great weekend (except for sat night!;))

I heard there was a new 10 sec car (10.80@115) this weekend at E20. I just happen to have the slip.

Very impressed with a 10.80 on DR's and pedaling the last 500 feet because of too much rear gear.

Get that gear changed this week. I wanna see a nine next weekend!

The motor is just fine and ready for some mid 10 sec NA passes......loose converter bolt was making the noise. So should be at the track to back up the passes and who knows........I did get the N20 system all worked out. So I tech. am broke so don't post this time. But I will have another Thurs or Sat....:bigthumb

I want to start off by saying that I had to short shift (5600) because of injectors. The ysi climbs up the tach, fast. I hit the rev limiter in high gear well before the 1/8th, from there on I kept it about 3/4 throttle to keep it out of the rev limiter.

And there might be 2 more cars in our garage turning it up alittle before its all over . I think both cars might get a extra 100 or so horse power let see we are 3rd 5th and 6th how much would it take for 1 2 and 3. 100 or 150 or 200 horsepower ? got an initial gain of 10hp just by adding an evac kit! did some jet adjusting and picked up an extra total of around 40hp. Did get it to KilKare the track wasn't hooking well with all the rain but got a backup pass made........

I Drove My car to the track today and back home so it was a good day! I went 9.80 138.99 with a 1.56 60ft

I had some small problems that I fixed and one big one that I could not fix its called SLICK-STATE or tri-state to some. I found out what it feels like to break the tires loose at 120+ mph not fun!!!! Just to much HP on the track today and it was not Worth pushing my luck!

But I'm going to post my E2O pass that I Made on 8-17-07 and a few people on here seen! was keeping it off the internet because I had a grudge race in Oct. that has been takin care of now!:D so I didn't improve on my e2o pass yet 9.21 144.43 1.40 60ft video

but we will try again next week!:bigthumb

Hmm, I'm not sure I like the whole sitting on a timeslip deal. I say new rule for next year. The reason it matters is, this was over 2 months ago. Who knows if that car broke sometime between now and back then. He wasn't on top so no one was paying attention. Anyway, good run.

-Running of the Ponys
-Running of the Dozen
-Local T&T at E20 or TS with fellow SBZ members

You've been busting your butt all year and have been a top contender...no way you should be tossed of the list. If someone cant make the run, then they should have a good excuse...simple.
I have a trailer, if Im racing, Im trailering. Shit happens at the track and Im not leaving my family on the side of the road while I hitch a ride to go home to get my trailer.

This is probably the toughest one to call so making these cars come out on the street to stay on the list will make things more fair in my opinion. This can be accomplished by requiring the cars to drive to the track at least once and/or showing up at our big cruise-ins.

Remember kids, this is for fun, bragging rights and a decal....nothing more. No big money prizes, no sponsorship deals, no trophies....just some good ole boys bringing out their cars and putting a beating on 1320 feet of tarmac!

I think the biggest issue was weeding out trailer queens and people that really don't participate here

As I said, I have to work, for the chance to possibly be in with the time i've already run, i'd be happy to show up somewhere and make the drive. I'd probably just run on my street tires, and then go, I just ran my time 1 1/2 weeks ago and have it on video at a local track, but i'd be happy to prove my street worthiness :)

Why would you even worry about it if you didn't have a car on the dozen list or somewhere close to it??? Seems like it should just go off last years rules and that's it. I may be over complicating this, but it would be cool to make this into a race. The Dozen qualifies you for the race. You are then seeded based on the dozen. Then it's heads up for the win. No more whining.

What about keeping the year long DD the same(top 12 get a sticker) but have 2 shootout days where the ones on the list can do a heads up and maybe get a single sticker for only the winner of that day. This would make the shootout days worth going and get some heads up racing.

The main problem I see with anything to do with the DD is with Vinny gone no one will make a decision on anything so we seem to be left on our own. I think 1 person or Moderator needs to be appointed the DD guy. He picks the dates and makes all final decisions with input from everyone.

Had a rough day found a melted plug but I got that fixed and finally hit all the gears everytime but my first pass. I just need to start powershifting now... been a little gun shy:lol:it should drop me .3-.5 which should put me back close to where I should be. My shift lite and tach stopped working on the last pass and I bounced off the rev limiter on the 1-2 shift and don't know where the 2-3 shift was but the 60' was a 1.355 could have been a 9.70 . So that sucks, but oh well I will have a new shift lite and tach next week and a little bigger pill!!!!!
Funny thing is if I spray it a little more next week it MITE move me one spot!!! HA HA HA This Dozen is the shit!!! Congrats too all !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:bigthumb
