I wonder about your questions sometimes. it is when you free up the flow of your exhaust...going for stock to a all out race, will "free up your exhaust."

If you mean flow through exhaust???? is where you can see through the muffler and it has packing around the pipe to absorb some sound.

Where as normal exhaust has chambers that the exhaust must go through before exiting the muffler.

i was reading about the bullitt mustang and it said it had a free flow exhaust. i was wondering what it ment exactally. like if it had converters or not. thanks

OF COURSE they have cats.. They have different mufflers than GTs though. Something like glasspacks?

its kool josh. I like questions. I dont know much about bullitt, and mach mustang vs gt mustangs. but all car have cats...well they have to come with them at least. but my guess, its all about sales...

I woulda imagine that the exhaust is larger and has better, more free flowing cats and mufflers........but all i know.... is i REALLY REALLY want a green bullitt edition!!!

well glasspacks mulffers are fiberglass filled mulffers. they are not some much to make the car louder, but to give body to the sounds of the engine.
