I'am planning on taking My Little Turbo Fairmont to dyno in a few weeks hopefully.Whats your predictions on HP it will make
302 GT40P explorer motor
GT40P heads ported a little.
Anderson B21 Blower cam 272/280 duration at .050 218/226 lobe lift at cam .320 .542 lift.
stock rockers.
Cobra Intake
70mm throttle body
80mm mass air
42# injectors
Big fuel rails and lines
Paxton Fuel Pump same as A1000 aeromotive
MP GT45R Turbo

I drove it last night myself down the road and this thing is freakin nutts. The other Fairmont with My 414 windsor nitrous motor ran a best of 9.62 141 in 1/4 and this thing feels as fast as it.I know it is not going to be but it feels awesome.Just blows the tires when boost hits right now though but still have street tires on it.
NO COMPARISON!!! at all to the vortech s trim that was on it for 3 days before it exploded last year.

So predictions??

The turbo is capable of more than your fuel pump or your block, but if the tune is safe, it should be pretty impressive. Whats the lobe seperation on that cam?

lobe seperation is 112.My fuel pump itself will support 1000HP.I know the block will not hold much.I have 2 spare explorer shortblocks here in case it lets loose and when I go through them I may build a boss or svo block we will see.If it makes good HP with the 8# spring it it thats what I will keep in it.This car is to have fun with Until I get my 91GT drag radial car done. no need to get greedy.

That pump is the same as the A1000, and I dont think its rated to 1000hp, with forced induction, same reason I'm looking for a bigger pump right now. Just keep a close eye on the a/f on the dyno. My new turbo cam is 115 lobe sep, but it seems most of them are in the 114 range that come from Cammotion. Anyway, good luck with it!

My predictions 440 to the wheels through a converter. 485hp to the wheels with a stick. I dont think the 42 injectors will suport much more than 600hp at the flywheel .

Ditto, my 42's @ 40 psi checked out right at 500 hp to the wheels,5 speed, pump gas. It made 553 rwhp when I switched to 50 lb inj.'s.

Well I don't know about injectors being small. This thing seems to be an animal and it's pig rich now.We will see what happens and make adjustments from there. Not going to get crazy with this car because it's just meant to be a fun pass the time car.If it will run 11.30's I will be happy and from what I can tell right now I can't see that being a problem. It feels as strong as Our other Fairmont and it's been 9.60's

Built C4 transmission w/brake not sure of stall yet,but transmission works great.Probably with me in it close to 3200# this may be a little high biut the other fairmont sedan with windsor and me in it weighs same as my mustang 3280#
