This is a TRUE story by a Ohio State Trooper.
He gets a call that a man has crashed his car into a tree. As the trooper pulls up to the scene he notices no signs of braking at all. The driver never attempted to lock up the brakes or steer clear of the tree. The driver drove straight into the tree.
The trooper walks up to the crashed vehicle. The driver is still alive. The trooper says to the man,"Sir are you all right."
The man says, "I tried to kill myself."
The trooper replies,"Sir."
The man states again,"I was trying to kill myself by driving as fast as I could straight into the tree."
The trooper replies," Sir, Then you would had been more successful flying through the windshield if you had left your seatbelt off." :HYF:
