One of the cool things about that car is how hard the company has worked to make it happen. They were really close to folding a back in the '90s and that Veyron has been a running model for them. It's pretty amazing that it all works like it does.

There's another video somewhere of some guys running one 0-200mph in something like 11 seconds...it's pretty insane. They said it goes 0-100 faster than some supercars can go 0-60.

Thats truly an amazing machine! I doubt I would have the nerve to drive it anywhere near that fast even under those controled cirumstances.

Yeah....a blowout at 253mph and you're gonna die....there's probably not much hope in surviving that. At least there's a company who has the balls to really put out a car that'll do what they claim it'll do. That trumps the McLaren F1's top speed of 240mph.

Hell there are cars on the salt flats that don't go that fast!

I watched one of those clips and one of the Bugatti people said they would paint the car in any color you want.
