The guy that was going to wetsand and buff my car has officially backed out, as he is starting back at AK, so he doesn't have the time. Would anyone be up for wetsanding and buffing the car? Obviously, I will pay whoever does it.

I also already bought all of the supplies, so I would prefer to use what I already have. I know some guys already have their methods set in stone though. I also have about half of the car wetsanded with 1200, but don't have the time to finish, and I've also never had experience with a buffer and do NOT want this to be my first, lol.

My dad would usually have done it, but he is just too busy right now, and I'd really like to have this car make the April cruise in for the first time.

Here's all the materials I have:

-06060 3M Perfect-It 3000 Extra Cut Rubbing compound w/ a red Meguiar's Soft buff 8" foam cutting pad
-06064 Perfect-It 3000 Swirl Mark Remover w/ a black 3M Perfect-It Plus Rounded Edge foam polishing pad
-06068 Perfect-It 3000 Ultrafina SE w/ blue 3M Perfect-It Ultrafina foam polishing pad and a microfiber 3M towel

I also have a new roll of 3M 1200 and 2000 grit paper.

Thanks guys.

LOL, more scared to mess it up more than anything. I put a lot of work into the body work and don't wanna mess it up.

lol, I posted before I read the whole thing.

I dont blame ya, but I think you should try at least some parts...like maybe the hood or wing.

practice makes perfect man. You gotta start somewhere. Surely if I had my dad so all of hte welding on my project it would have looked nicer, but I want to learn. If you start early, you'll be a master of the craft soon. I'd recommend doing it yourself. Its'll be very gratifying as well.

LOL, pretty embarassing, but a 15.28 w/ a 2.30 60 ft. I ran a 2.20 60 ft on my last run but missed third and ran a 15.4, lol.
