I have four key lugnuts ona on all four of my tires. it is there if you do not know what i am talking about so people can not steal your rims/tires. you use a special key that fits into it and then the crowbar fits on to that to loosen it. Well my question is does any body have any suggestions on how to get these special lugnuts off if the lugnuts them selfs are stripped. the key works fine bc i have taken the two front tires off with it but the back two tires are stripped. Any suggestions are helpful or tool suggestions to use.

find a small walled socket the will barely fit over them, I believe it's a 3/4" socket. I have one in my tool box from the same thing.

lightly hammer the socket over the lugnut and using a breaker bar take it off.

I have a set I took off my car in the package with the key if you want to replace all of them on the cheap $5

Are you saying that the threads are stripped or the keyway in the top of the lugnut? If its the threads in the nut, take off the rest of the lugnuts and pry on the opposite side of the wheel while someone turns the nut. It should/might give enough movement to grab some threads and come the rest of the way off by itself. Tough way to get yer nuts off guy.

from actually looking at the pics, your key may be broken a little bit, check the internal piece inside and see if it's chipped or broken a bit, I had this problem before, the company charges like $25 for a new key to be made.

well I believe that just the two lugnuts on the back tires are actually stripped not the key bc the key works on the front two tires fine so. But if I get it off for sure I would buy those key locks off you flatlinecowboy. could you post some pics for me if possible?

I know one thing you do. Throw those damn things in the garbage once you do get them off. They are nothing but a pain in the ass!!

I agree. If a real thief wanted your rims he would just steel the car anyway.

A pipe wrench works well too, just be carefull to put something over your rim so you dont scratch it.
