View Full Version : EGR tube in the rear of stock 5.0L heads???

What should I use to cap off my EGR tube when not reinstalling it in the rear of 5.0L cylinder heads, besides getting them through a local FORD dealer???

HELP please, going drop it in tomorrow...

I cut the ends off of the tube, turned them around and bolted them back on--sealed the heads right up.

I think NAPA sell them. They are called thermactor plugs. If not i know Trick flow makes some for a few bucks apiece.

I cut the ends off of the tube, turned them around and bolted them back on--sealed the heads right up.Quick, cheap and it works. The plugs however give a bit more room and it doesnt look half assed IMO.
