View Full Version : '87+ Coupe quarter glass

Need some newer quarter glass, preferably with decent molding if possible.

Also could use the rear interior side panels to match...and if anyone can tell me what all needs changed to swap quarter glass (on the interior) i'd appreciate it!

You will need the interior qtr trims , only because the 85 window installs on the inside of the car. (u will have a 1/2" to 3/4" gap between the glass and the panel) You will also need the drip rail molding at the edge of the roof. Then the door molding is different at the top of the door by the dew wipes and the mirror is also different. You don't have to change the mirror and the door mld but if you are trying to make it look just like 87 up thats what you need. I've done a few of these swaps before If I remember right you will have to drill a hole or 2 for the new qtr window. If I can help just shoot me a pm. Jason

I really like both styles of quarter glass, and i really like the old louvers anyways so the only real reason i'm bother is because i can't seem to find decent rust free '85-86 doors without selling a kidney to get them, so i have a set of '87+ doors, i figured as a last resort i'd swap the quarter glass along with those doors.

if ya end up needing the interior panels let me know i have a set of black coupe panels i was going to use in my 86 but decided to hack up mine for something custom..
