View Full Version : For Sale, '79 Capri...selling for a friend MUST SEE!!!

'79 capri, originally a 4 cyl. car, HAD a 351 in it, now has no engine, suspension/brakes/rearend are all original 4 cyl. parts TO MY KNOWLEDGE, i know that it doesnt have and 8.8 in it.

Car has been converted to look like a 93 GT, still has original capri flared fenders all the way around, had GT mustang hatch and everything, has a 2 inch cowl hood, the interior is switched over too, except the dash, the car was originally a manual trans car, pedals are still in it, currently has an automatic in it with a stall converter supposedly(may not stay in car for long), has what appears to be early saleen wheels on it.

Right front frame is rusty and needs either replaced or boxed in, and needs brakes, i am prolly forgettin some things so i will post more as i learn it.

thats exactly where its at now :bigthumb, Thats my friend Mike's house, he was gonna fix it up but his 94 GT puked an engine so he windsor'd his '94 :D

i was going to buy this car a week or 2 ago, went and looked at it and it isnt a bad car it is a good start but my walet wasnt. Bump for a nice ride

Mike remembers a lot of people that have visited his neighbor...who are ya? he might remember you, and by the way the probe is no more, he rolled it a while back, lol
