you guys go and enjoy that slippery ass track (test n tune) ... im done there on fridays, too many imports and NO track prep! ... too dangerous and 2.15 60ft times on a mid 11 sec car is not any fun ...

go saturday, its the UMTR ... they prep the track!

I also plan on being there for the UMTR on Saturday as well...
(never been and I think that'll be the best chance I have at getting
in the 1.5 60' range)

I would like to go to Tristate but cant( wife 3 kids/select soccer) not possible on Sat.. Does the track start out bad? If you are first couple to run is it ok? Thought maybe it sucked after a few ricers run?? I think weather is going to be nice:D

last week was too chilly to run any good times. :( alot of people were having problems hooking. this friday looks like its going to be a good night. saturday looks like its going to be even better for umtr. :bigthumb

i agree it might be better, i packed it up after 2 runs ~ it was pointless in that weather ... why does the track suck so bad on fridays, but hooks like crazy during the saturday events? ... do they use more VHT or whatever that shit is called, or is it the lack of imports on saturday? ... maybe its the 7-8-9 second cars laying down good rubber on saturdays? ... i hate friday test n tunes ... if you can hook on fridays at E20, you can hook anywhere in the country :cool1:

fridays i pull 2.1x's or so and spin through 2nd ... saturdays i pull 1.57's ... thats insane!

Hammer a socket that is just a little smaller than the lock onto the lock. It might tear up the socket, but it works.

Since you switched to slicks I think I'll run mine in total street mode with regular radials to see if I can get it in the 12's should be like racing in rain:eek:
