+1. Those are great programs. Run both of those and see what happens. You can find them both from http://www.download.com :bigthumb

I use both Ad aware and spybot but it is more than they can handle this time. It does not even want to boot up correctly. I did the system restore thing a couple times in the past and that worked great but now it wont even do that.

I had the same problem about a month ago. My computer was about 4 years old. So I needed a new one. With the virus that it got it gave me a reason to buy a new one. What ever it was, it was pretty nasty. My wife is damn good with computers and she couldn't figure it out. So we called up Dell and had one sent...

Hey Keith you to the right idea but I have to make this thing last a little longer.

Have you tried booting into safe mode and running ad aware & spybot and your virus software? most times if its a bad one when you go to run any spyware in normal boot mode, it will just load the virus back on when you reboot.

p.s. do not enable networking when booting into safe mode!

I used to have a working keyboard that had a working "any" key. It was just an extension of the space bar...but...yeah....

Soybot S&D and Adaware SE Personal...

I also use McAfee Enterprise edition....good schtuff...
