94/95's had t-5's not t-45's. It is kind of a pain in the butt to put a manual in the aod's place, so you need to be sure that is the direction you want to go. You might want to call 513-821-2221 to discuss upgrades for you automatic. They could hook you up with good parts.

I thought the 94's had T5's?

Eric was the car initially an auto or did the hack before you customize that also?

They were T5's and make sure, that if you do go to a t5, you have to get one from a 94 or 95, because the input shafts are longer on the 94-95's.

naw lol it was an auto from factory. Apparently its suppose to have a stall in it. But also i beleive its not shifting good because of the throttle linkage hack job. Has 94 throttle linkage on fox intake setup so there is no kickdown cable n shit.

Maybe the reason it's not shifting right, is that the TV cable isn't hooked up. That can mess a transmission up too. Transman, or Dirtydog, could help you out.

What all is involved in doing this? Eric is coming down this weekend and we were going to work on a couple little bugs.... maybe this is one we can check out?

Yes, get that TV cable hooked up asap. You will smoke a trans in no time if it is unhooked.

I thought the 94/95s came with aode trannies which is a different animal than the AOD. I think they are controlled electronically rather than with a kickdown cable. I can tell you that an AOD will die very quickly if you don't have a kickdown cable. At any rate get a Lentech valvebody and you will be happy. They make valve bodies for AODs and AODEs, so either way your covered. If that is too expensive for you Baumann makes a pretty good shift kit.

The street terminator 4r70W with stage 2 calibration would probably work well for you. Your best bet is to call Lentech and ask their opinion. I have found them to be very friendly and helpful.
