Damn that's a lot of beans for all the toys to make it work. I really would love to have one with a 347 in it though.

hell come up with half that and Kevin Doe would probaly fab everything for ya , he is a BEAST when it comes to fab work ...... look at his rx-7 ???

That's awesome.

Things like that and the "Monster Miata" (5 litre in a Miata) are an evolution of what guys were doing in the 1960s with old British sports cars. There are more than a few MGs and Triumphs running around this town with small block Chevy engines crammed under the hood.

I've always though a Chevy-engined Healey would be a fun toy...too bad that Healeys are ungodly expensive these days. :(

rscoupe did a tune for a guy with a Miata that had a 347 in it. I heard froma few people saw it that it was just incredible. I wouldn't mind something like that or a V8 focus.

Actually, I would build it myself. I just have to come up with the welder, saws, other BS I left up in MI after the move.....

It's just the whole idea of it....

Plus the inside joke of it all is on the Grassroots Motorsports board to ANY "What car should I buy?" question, the answer is ALWAYS Miata. ;)
