power loss question

Ok when im wot the car will hit right at 5500 rpms then just cut out like it lost all power like a rev limiter or fuel cutoff or something. And if i let off the gas and stab it again it'll go to about 5500 again and do the same thing so what could this be and how do i go about fixing it?

Maybe the hack before you put the rev limiter at 5500? Most mild cams are rated at that anyways... you have a TFS1 cam so 5500 would be perfect....

yes but the way it cuts out is not so good. the power band is lost once it hits 5500 nose of the car just dives if it would hit 5500 and shift keeping all power it would be awsome but thats not the case.

Well if you ever get down here ill check it out and help ya out... as well as install that kit... that will take care of any powerlosses lol!

mostly i beleive its a shifting related problem with the aode. Because its a slow drawn out shift not a snap into gear shift like it needs probably.
