View Full Version : Question: Secondary Wiring on the Coil - Where does the back end connect?

My coil is fed with speaker wire to the secondarys, I'm assuming that this isnt adequate, and even if it is, for good measure, I want to run standard gauge to it but I dont know what feeds the secondary.
I can see that the two wires go in to the harness but where from there? All of my wires etc, are tucked in the wheel well and the farthest place I can trace them back to is where is it all goes it to black wire protector then back in to the car.

So, again lol, where can I find the starting point for the - and + that feed the coil? And, what gauge wire would you recommend?

Also, my MAF is fed with speaker wire....like no joke...6 feet of it, what is the best practice for correcting that?

Thanks!

What are you talking about when you say secondary? Speaker wire would probably be fine for the MAF if it's soldered well.

The coil input, the wires that feed the positive and negative side of the ignition coil.
