Try rolling the windows down, sometimes a little fresh air is all you need.

At work we WILL NOT upgrade to Vista......they are loading XP Professional onto brand new computers. ;)

We are running Office 07 though.....MAN there are some changes (and it's amazing how people think that everything is in Spanish now!!! ) It did slow down most of the computers though...

odds are its not vista, its IE7. IE7 is a crock of shit, just like IE6.

go to google.com and search for mozilla firefox, download it and use it instead of Internet Explorer.

You'd be buying XP, and probably paying an installation fee!

I have it on my new laptop and hate it. A lot of software doesnt comply with it yet. Funny thing is, everytime i see those Mac commercials making fun of microsoft and Vista, i can relate too and laugh.

Spent some time today troubleshooting a Vista Business PC that refused to log into the server - talk about a pain in the ass! The gimmicky features are all good and well for the home user - but I see almost no benefit for the business market! It's just more of a reason to loath Microsoft... :(

I am running Vista Ultimate 64-Bit on my laptop and have had no problems besides the modem not having a current driver, but with high speed who needs a modem? If I do ever need a modem they make usb modems for less then 30 bucks, so it wouldn't cost much to get one. I did have to upgrade me memory to but again not a big deal. The biggest problem for me so far is software is still limited for 64 bit OS's. I also run Office 2007 and yes, it's a lot different then 2003 office but now that I am getting use to it, it's not that bad just different.

I ditched XP Pro 64-bit because it was just a bitch finding drivers for anything. I am running Office 2007 also. It's taken a little getting used to, but I am really starting to like it a lot. :bigthumb

I've thought about getting Office 2007. What are the differences between 03 and 07? I run 03 right now. I do alot of flyers, excel documents etc. Is it worth it?

Thanks!
Kim

The whole display interface is different, there styling it more toward the vista OS IMO... The office programs are about the same just layed out in a new manner.
