Smells like you gotta bad case of dirty pants. Does it stink when you have the air on?? Does it go away when you have the windows down??

might be related to the heater core mabey leaking or getting hot enough to burn something touching it.

you still have hot water in your hoses even with the heater off. do you smell coolant or anything inside? A good way to test this is take the radiator cap off and smell the hot radiator fluid (don't burn yourself), then go inside and see if you can smell it there. We can check it out tonight if you come out

Is it happening when you first start up the car? Turn on the defroster see if a fog comes out and coats the window, if so it's your heater core!

Tim is saying that if you turn the defrost on right this second and it starts to mist out and coat the window then its the core. he's not talking about when you r windshield fogs up

could be the heater solenoid. Get an air sample and take it to a auto parts store. They can test it to see if the solenoids gaskets are over heating. That can give you the burnt rubber smell. remember to use a fresh container so it doesn't throw off your test results. That happened to me once! LOL
