Im going to be getting an Aeromotive eliminator fuel pump. Do I have to run the aeromotive billet fuel pump controller? Or can I just run the stock wiring? Ive heard that the stock computer shuts off the fuel at a pretty low rpm. I plan on turning around 7800 rpm and dont want to have any problems. Any info would help. Thanks, Eddie.

Hey you ought to check out Hot Rod mag this month. They did a story on a new mechanical fuel pump that sounds pretty kick ass. Check out Racepumps.com. Sounds like they are extremely reliable and you don't have to worry about all of the wiring, relays or even a return line. In fact I would bet the pump and reg are cheaper than just the Aeromotive pump. Definately worth looking into. I think I may go that route as soon as the get the pumps out for the big block Fords. BTW the mag article says they are only avail for Chevy applications but the website says they have them ready for small Fords. Maybe this may help.
