Crank Question

[2-8-1]

I have a 1999 GT. It has an 8 bolt crank/flywheel. My understanding was that only the Cobras have an 8 bolt Crank/flywheel. Does this mean I have a Cobra Crank, or that 1999's came with an 8 Bolt Crank/Flywheel. Is it cast, or forged?

I believe some earlier PI GTs have a 8bolt and its cast.

That is correct, I also own a 99GT with an 8 hole pattern. They are cast and are not cobra cranks.
