View Full Version : Adding a chute to Vinny Barber's 05 GT

Here are some pics of the chute and dual DIS-4's we added to Vinny Barber's ride. We got the procharger back and it's still blowing oil. After some investigation, it looks like the intercooler that was added is too small causing surging. So we will be replace that in the upcoming week in preparation for NMRA MI.

This is the white 05 that Mike Wilson built while at Paul's. After Vinny left Paul's, another shop added the air to water intercooler, which has been the source of most of it's issues. First the tubing kept coming apart, so we redid all that. Then when that held, the intercooler that was used is not flowing enough causing the blower to surge and spit out oil. So next up is a new intercooler. I can't believe the power it made knowing now how much of a restriction we had in the intercooler.

Nice fit! Looks great! Love the custom release handle, now I know what to do with those extra tools ;)

Very nice! That car sounds SAWEET, even NA. I can't imagine what it sounds like with the Procharger on it.
