I as just sent an e-mail from them asking us to attend this show in honor of Al Friedel who passed away this, year he was our Vinny... But they did ask us to all come as a group if we wanted to park together!!! I told Vinny about the fiasco last year of trying to park together and he had expressed to me that "we should should all roll in at once and watch their faces when we say we all want to park together!!!" So in his honor I say we go to the show as one large convoy and "Watch their faces" as we show them that the :sbowns::flipoff:

Seeing how I have NO idea how to drive that car, that is not going to happen. It needs some work anyway, and until I sell that damn Excursion, I have NO extra money to put into it. :mad:

I know we probably could make it happen, but it's too much work for all involved right now (plus the $$ side of it).

I think I'll let Twisted Twins sit in the garage this year. Hopefully next year things will be different, but right now, I'd have to get full coverage insurance on it, and that would be my 4th car insured. :mad: Until I get rid of the Excursion, I'm stuck. Thanks though, I appreciate the thought.

Scott and I went to the meeting tonight - BORING - anyway, we told them that we were going to be bringing a bunch of cars (I think the number of 60ish was dropped) - where should we meet to park together - they suggested meeting at Rave Theater. The look in the old guy's face was priceless. He even stood up so that he could hear better... hearing aid must have been in his pocket. So it's not likely that we'll actually have 60 cars, but the shock value was priceless!

I'm trying to think of somewhere on the other side of I-75 that would be large enough for all of us....

I think there is a vacant restaurant right off of Maulhouser right there by Uno's....I think it used to be a steak house.....Roadhouse or something like that.

I believe if you're not registered, then you have to park in a different lot (I didn't register last year and I had to park in the back)

I wasn't saying that they'd kick you out.....but if you're not in the "show", most places have you park in another location.....like TSMC did to me last year. ;)

My wife and I made it there for a couple of hours. Despite it being quite toasty out the show was very good. Had a wide selection of stangs plus some other Fords. The location was IMHO of going there umpteen years one of the nicer venues :bigthumb

i made the cookies for both scott and nancy. seems last time i made them (for craig at powerfest) nancy was asked to hold scotts. and she did. very well. in her belly. but yes, the leftovers were sent with them. maybe next time i offer cookies you'll all take more than one before they go to a good home. :cool2: but scott did get some hot metts.
