Yes, the end of the input shaft is smaller I think, but it will fit in and work for at least a day or so!!

The input shafte is also longer (0.3 inch) Ive heard that on some cars it bottoms out in the crank and on some it doesnt. The pilot bearing race is smaller in diameter as well, this could cause some issues down the road with balance. Plus I doubt you will like the 407 or 397 first gear much.
