how the hell do u set these things ive bought a new one put it on,car runs like crap and wont idle,put the old one back on it runs fine help? thanks

If it runs fine with the old one then why are you replacing it LOL. The only way Ive heard to adjust it is to make sure it reads .96 volts with the throttlle plate closed, there should be three wires, a ground, 5v reference, and then the signal wire which will change voltage as you open the throttle plate, which is around 4v at WOT(wide open throttle). not shure of wire colors I havent owned a 5.0 in a long time

get the car running..lossen it and move it till it idels smooth is how i did mine.
