Anyone else going?They sold qualifying spots out in 15 minutes.I was lucky enough to get one so I will be taking the little turbo fairmont up.They sold over 15,000 spectator tickets so this should be huge.My car is different so you never know it might get on the show.

Well we just got back from the race.I did not make the top 16 to be on the show,They took 9.90 index cars this time and my car was running low 11 second times.There was 398 cars trying to qualify so It was a privelage just to be able to be there and try. But you never know there may be a shot of my car on there I did stage right underneath the camera during the second qualifying shot where rich christiansen started us with the arm drop so that was cool.All in all it was a cool experience and the race was huge there was 30,000 people there yesterday.Had alot of response to my car everyone came and looked for it in the pits they liked it because noone thought it was fast and when it ran they were very surprised.The announcer on friday said it looked stock and probably did not belong there because the cars had to run 12.99 or quicker to be considered for the show.When it busted off and 11.28 he said damn thats not stock.Got a cool T-shirt that cannot be bought only the racers get them and had a blast so all in all Great time.Will try again if it comes close enough to us again.which I bet it will.Now getting car ready for Norwalk Fun Ford Weekend in a few weeks.thats always a blast.Pretty much the highlight of the summer racing for us every year.That and Fun Ford Weekend Bristol Tennessee 2 weeks later.

I was there I saw the guy from Lima who was in the magazine with Ackbar. He did make the 10.1 class that had to race against the 9.90s and try and knock them out of their spot.

yeah he was pitted across from us and the guy right next to us got to try to knock one out too,but his nitrous bottle was not on
