My brother(tz250) and I are planning a Bike trip to Deals Gap next thurs/fri(first th/fr in july).Details are still a little sketchy.
Deals Gap is a road that starts in TN and ends in NC. It is 11 miles long and has 318 turns, the longest straightaway is only a couple of hundred feet.
If anyone is interested in taking the trip let me know. The trip is about a 6hr bike ride. We will be leaving thurs morning around 5-6am, returning friday probably 5-6-7 pm. It's a long ride, but it's a hell of alot of fun once you get there.
My brother is licensed profesional in the wera(www.wera.com) sactioning body, he has'nt raced in a couple of years, but he's fast..I could'nt catch him if he had 2 flat tires. I am an average rider, I've been riding my whole life, but I don't push that hard. I've only made this trip once before, there were four of us,my bro(gsxr1k),a Ducati sport tour, a Harley fat boy, and me, Yamaha R1, so any one with a decent (safe, dependable) bike is welcome to go.
