I need a really hard to find part for a Ford.... Help Please

Hey Guys,

I need the hood latching assembly from the newest gen Lincoln Mark 8 ('97).

Ford does not make the part, and I have called salvage yards around the country and can not find any.

Any help would rock.

it's part of the hood from what I'm told...... which is why noone would have one i'm guessing? there's a mark VIII at the pick and pull in columbus that you could get the hood from cheap

I need the peice that latches and unlatches. Its inlaid in the rad shroud.

I did in fact try them all ready.

They searched some national parts thing and gave me a lead.
The lead turned up to be dead.

There's a green 94 Mark VIII at Pay-n-pull. We took the e-fan from it. $18 for a MK VIII fan is "not bad" LOL.
