I found an old box with some CDs I had in highschool. Unfortunately some of them are too scratched to rip to my PC. Are there any stores around the Eastside that repair CDs? None are cracked they just have little scratches all over them. Thanks!

There is a plastic polish made by meguiars that says it can be used on cd's too. I havent tried it yet though it worked great on a set of plastic headlights. Its called Plastx and is in a white bottle. Might be worth a shot.

That skip doctor is the shit!

I have an older model, its about 6 or 7 years old. I think I payed 25 or 30$ for it then, got it at Meijers. I have to say its one of the best purchases Ive ever made! Ive gotten my moneys worth out of it 10 times over!

It spins a cd kinda slowly while it uses a very fine grit sanding disc to basically buff out any scratches in the cd. I have salvaged cd's Ive found on the side of the road before that youd never even think could be saved.

I highly recommend the skip Dr. to everyone!

I have the older model of this one.

AJ, go buy yourself the Doctor, and dont look back! the best 25 bucks ever spent. have salvaged many cd's and xbox/xbox360 games! it's paid for itself ten-fold. just keep the disc wet with solution when buffing or it will make it worse.
