I was driving to work this morning and heard on the radio that they are planning to re-make the Steve McQueen classic "Bullit". I thought it was interesting. Brad Pitt is supposed to be taking on Steve McQueen's role. I sure hope they do it right!!

it would be kinda cool if they used a newer bullitt in the movie

I heard that too. Looking forward to seeing Brad Pitt in it. ;)

I bought Walk the Line at Target yesterday for $10. If you haven't seen that movie, rent it, it's a good one!

I wonder if that pretty much cements that Ford will have another Bullit edition in the next couple of years?

The new Bullit vs the new charger. That would be cool. I wonder if the bullit car will have a 7 speed trans in this one. LOL

Walk the Line is a great movie!

That's what I was wondering...

I'm not sure about Brad Pitt. I used to be a huge fan, but not so much these days. Back when he made Fight Club he was cool and I would have thought he could have pulled it off, but he just doesn't seem as cool these days...

Brad Pitt would definitely have to lose the blonde hair to pull it off.

oh great, another hollywood remake... cant wait to see the shoddy and shakey camera work during the chase scene... i hate that shit, makes me lose interest when i cant see what the hell is happening because someone doesnt know to hold a camera...

Yeah im not sure about Brat Shit either. Speaking of remakes, I've heard rumors that they're remaking Hulk. The people that made the last one are really embarassed about how bad the first one sucked so they're trying to redeem themselves.

I hope they keep the car chases realistic and not go overboard like in "Fast and the furious" and by the way the HULK does suck balls!!!!!:sukit: and that Spiderman sucks balls also:sukit: LOL

I seem to remember they already said something about an '08 Bullitt edition? There was a concept image going around...it had a sort of grill delete looking piece in the front that basically just deleted the honey comb part of the grill, and it had huge Bullitt style wheels and of course was Highland Green and had no spoiler.

Hhmm, sounds interesting. Here's a quick article with a pic...http://www.moddedmustangs.com/bullitt-to-return-in-2008.html

Interesting but that's not the pic i remember....this one didn't have any body kit..maybe a slightly lower front end but it was more like a stock V6 really, no side skirts or anything. There was a kind of plastic ring going around the grill opening to hide where you would see the bumper cover edges if you just took the grill out, but then the grill was wide open.

it still needs the correct vents in the hood, similar to the '03-'04 cobras...
