i have a question i have a 90 lx auto. i took it to the track with all stock other than 3.55 gears. i changed out the stock headers, h pipe, tb,egr spacer, cold air intake, and i took off the smog pump and the ac was already off when i got it. So after all that i took it to power fest and the dam car ran slower then when it had all stock parts on it. Could some one give me some ideas what could be going on with my car. Any ideas would be helpful the car is driving my nuts. thank you

What was the temps when you ran last? The weather will make a difference also look at all your 60's and mph and compare them to your old runs, the track wasn't hooking great either.

this his brother and it was alittle cooler last time he ran the car. and i know the track wasnt hooking either but i got a 14.90 out of a stock convertible with less done to it then his car.

i talked to the guy he got the car off and he was saying something about base engine timing might be off is he talking about when they drop the distributor in and it might be off a tooth are something like that. i mean we have checked the engine with a timming light and it is dead on so thats why i dont know whatits deal is and the guy thinks the car should go a 14.50

It's probably a combination of weather and varied 60 foot times.
