I need some recommendations for a second set of rims that would go on my 2006 for a set of drag radials/slicks. I believe AJ is running a 15" rim w/ 28" drag radial. any suggestions would be appreciated as I hope to either get them before end of year or over winter so i can fortify the drive line ie: drive shaft, rear gear /brace, safety loop, axles and bearings.

Thanks for any help my peeps can give me!!!

Good luck finding 15" wheels to clear the brakes... unless you want to soend some serious cash. Your best bet is a set of stock take offs.

What size brakes do 05+'s have in the rears? I was under the assumption they weren't bigger than the 11.65"s on the sn95 cobra's. If so, he just needs to add a little backspacing.

The combination of brake size and the goofy offset the S197s have makes it difficult to make 15" wheels fit. Bogart and another company make 15" drag wheels for them, but the styles are few and very expensive.

If you can find a weld xp 15x8 w/5.5bs 3" studs and a small spacer they will fit. Problem is they don't make 15"xp's and you need someone that has them already. I know someone but I'm not sharing due to working this problem out myself. Or it's back to the $2,600 for Bogarts??????????

Yup you are limited to Weld XP series wheels which are hard to find since they don't make them anymore, Bogarts or the slightly cheaper Holeshot wheels.
