347--- vic-jr box stock
x-cam
10.5 to 1
trick flow r intake
70 mm t-body now with cheap c-a-i
80 mm mass air
1-5/8 long tubes flowmaster cat back 2-1/2
373 gears
I was thinking of doing a 4inch power pipe. A 80mm t-body and 3inch exhaust is to big for my combo? I want to get everthing set up before I go custom cam and tune.------------this is a street car thanks Adam

I think the right cam and a Tune would help you a lot more than bigger exhaust and power pipe.

I agree w/ Tim. When you swap the cam, make sure you upgrade valve springs, They're often overlooked, but very critical to hp. Anderson ford motorsport makes some good na cams.

the cam and tune are getting done for sure. I just want to get everything else done so I dont have to pay for dyno time and retune.
what do you think of this cam----comp xfi1248hr-14 part #35-776-8

Look for a smaller lobe seperation for a N/A Cam like 108. Best bet might be t call a cam manufacture and see what they would use. You might even call several

about the t-body and exhaust?

There is power to be found with a 75mm+ t/b and 1 3/4" lt's on a 347. I would do the t/b and headers before you get a custom cam. The cam is the last piece of the puzzle that makes everything work the best together. With the bigger parts, there is no reason you can't make a streetable 400+rwhp out of a N/A 347.

Rixxx93GT made just a hair under 400 RWHP (397 I think) with a very similar setup and a small cam.
