Air filter placement

So is it better to run you r air filter on the inside of the engine compartment or inside the fender well? Will you gain anything time wise by running it one way vs the other?

Better in the fender. I don't have a time difference but I would think on a hot day you might see a tenth

Its better to run it in the fender so your not breathing in air around the hot engine bay...but in the fender has it draw backs especially when it rains, anyone with a cai has ran into this, puddles suck!.
