We just got back tonight from our vacay in Gatlinburg. We took an afternoon to drive down to Deal's Gap, NC and drive the Dragon up the mountain. We got to chase this miaa up the mountain going 40-45 and 30-35 around the curves. SO MUCH FUN! There is 318 curves in an 11 mile stretch. The coolest road course I have seen. Felt like autocrossing! haha

Ive been hearing about that place. Some friends want to take the bikes down there and ride it. I seen some really cool videos of it, looks awesome.

Yeah we take it every year going ti N.C. its a blast ,we usually have to stop cuz my buddy is a puss and gets car sick:barf:

The last time I drove the car on the gap my brake were red hot at the end. Very cool road.:eek::bigthumb:bigthumb

I went a couple years ago with the richwood powersports crew, we all gave it hell, nothing like a big group blasting down the dragon......I miss my bike :(

She is not getting old she was just hungover. I have to give her credit for as much as she puked the night before she did really well on the drive. I didn't give her notice once when I went from 5th to 3rd and that was rough on her but other than that she did well.

Deal's Gap is a lot of fun. I've organized a few rides from Dayton. The Dragon sticker is the only sticker on my bike (2001 GSXR1000).


I've only been through it on a four wheeled vehicle once, but it wasn't that fun. I was in a loaded down Astro van...:rolleyes:

LOL, I figured you would comment here. TZ250 is my brother, that's a pic of him in his avatar. We went 2 years ago,he finished with enough time to park his bike, get his camera out, and take a pic of me finishing(02 yamaha r1).
