How many runs left on my tires??

My BFG drag radials no longer have tread on them since powerfest. How many more runs can I get out of them.

Granted, I like to do a solid 5 second burn out to heat the tires before each run.

Do you think I need to buy new DR's before this Saturday for UMTR??

You should still be able to get at least 15-20 more passes out of them even with doing a moderate burnout. The nmra factory stock guys like them the best when they are pretty much bald. Just keep a eye on them to watch for them to start peeling or see cords.

I'm just now getting my MT DR's down to the wear bars.

That's after 1000+ street miles and 30-35 passes with 5-7 second burnouts each. :D

I got the best 60' times with some "worn out" BFG 17" DR's. ;)

Sweet, I was hoping you would say that..... This is probably the last race of the year for me and I don't feel like buying new tires until next year.
