Looks as though they are going to be cracking down on speeders and what not on the AA highway, so be careful if you travel that road.

They've also been cracking down big time on I-71 from Fields Ertel into downtown. I've seen a ton of Highway Patrol Revenuers running radar in the last couple of weeks during the day, especially around Smith-Edwards and Ridge.

Welcome to the past year Gene. I dont see them much during rush hour (thank god) but during the day, 4-5 cruisers is pretty normal for that stretch.

I hardly ever see cops on my end of the double A, but I'm gonna slow down anyway! I guess I better leave for work a little earlier!

The only thing that makes the AA unsafe are the truckers running redlights at residential intersections. They should focus their attention on that instead of Joe Shmoe driving 10 over the limit.

A friends mom witnessed the accident at the intersection of Poplar Ridge a few weeks back. Terrible is the only way to describe that road sometimes.

Its not the first time. I lived just up the hill towards 27 until I got married and there were a few bad wrecks there including a a state trooper who got smashed by a truck.

Yup.....I'll head up that way for lunch and see em every time.

I counted 7 cops (State boys and Cincy) between Montgomery and Ridge one day!:eek:
