Well..what is your setup...give us the complete rundown of your whole combination. Then we might be able to help you out.

I have a 9.5 Edge in my car. They are really good to work wit hand will get you what you need. They have gone above and beyond normal service a couple times for me and I highly recommend them. My dad also just had a 9.5 converter restalled by Dirtydog(Alan) and it seems to be a lot better, although we have no track times to prove it just yet. I know he also builds converters from scratch too so he may be a good choice for you and he is local. I will say that if you plan too have an AOD in a reasonably fast street car you want a 9.5 nonlockup with at least a 2800 stall, maybe a lot higher depending on your combo. A Lentech valve body or at least a decent shift kit are also mandatory. A decent cooler is also a good Idea.

I have been as fast as 10.79 on an internally stock AOD, so they aren't as bad as everyone says, you just have to know what to do to make them live.

Aod's and 4R70W transmissions really are my specialties. I have been working on my website. http://www.dirtydogperformance.com
You will find several products under the AOD category. If you give me a call I can discuss which one would be best for your setup.
