Well seeing as to how we have a big deal to celebrate, how about we do it! I was thinking the weekend of August 25. I talked to Holly and she said she is busy this weekend, and Columbus is the weekend after that. I thought I would get some ideas as to where we could all meet up, and make it a weekend everyone would be able to come. I would like to go somewhere we it won't be too smokey (for Holly's and the other non smoker's sakes). Also, we could have us a few drinks, so if anyone has any ideas, post em up:bigthumb

well I could probably get permission to use the parking lot next to my house and we could have a cook out???? Just a thought!

We can do it here at the farm. I can get my nephews band American Hardcore. The house is small. But, I have a 140x80 barn. A few Bonfire pits back in the woods, and plenty of camping spots creekside. Plenty of trails for horseback riding, and quad/dirtbike/railbuggy. Let's get some Kegs:bigthumb

I am guessing maybe 75 to 100 spots. If anyone knows where the counseling center is in Amelia, it's that parking lot.

I think Kelly and Holly should be able to attend...along with the majority of the Pink's crew...maybe the cars could even be there too. ;)

How about we get something together in early September? Maybe up in Tri-County or something closer to where the cars are stored. ;)

Early September is good too. I am going to be working 7 days a week 10 hours a day starting September 28th. I would like for everybody in the pit crew and of course as many Stangbangerz as possible to attend. I think it will be a great time. I hope to see all of you there!! Wherever we can accomodate a bunch of partying group of people would be great.

Not to be negative about it, because I think it's an absolutely wonderful thing, (glad I could be an unknown part of it in the background) but that would seem to be costly and possibly limit some from coming as opposed to having a get together w/o admission fees, etc. But I guess most of you will be there anyway, sooo...never mind.

Matt, I'd offer up the old stang again to you, but after KC I doubt you'll ever want to drive anything slow again!!!! :lol:

I think it would be a good idea to have something here so that more people who would like to go, can. We could still do something for everyone that will going to Columbus too. I'm with Paul, too bad I still live with the parentals, otherwise I would have it here in A Town.

I was thinking the same thing! The only problem im having is seeing when im gonna be working , I start at AK Steel on Monday so im hoping i have the day off for the columbus and the fall get togethers!

Kelly, don't they have a room or area for parties? That would be cool Sept sounds good for me too. I have my daughter for vacation the week before NMRA and that weekend. We maybe out of town the entire time, and I don't want to miss this party!

Wait a minute NMRA Columbus cost to much but Dave and Busters is ok:confused2 HMMMMMMM are we going to have the car at the NMRA event to dispay all our hard work and efforts? I am down for either place......and Matt My car could be done this week.......................:D
