My 96 GT turbo project

Thought I would actually make a thread on the car. I've had it for over 5 years. Been through 5 different suspension set ups. Here is what is going on the car...

MP T70 .96A/R
Ebay 31"X12"x3" intercooler
255lph fuel pump
42lb FMS injectors
custom pipe everywhere
1/2" oil drain
1/8" oil feed w/ restrictor
custom turbo/IC brackets
QA1 tube K member
some other stuff....

I'm putting the wheels back on tonight so I can roll it out and get some stuff shoved up in the attic. But your more then welcome to come over and "practice" some more :lol:

yeah OEM hose at that. It touches the comp. housing but nothing a little wrap won't fix

I actually have a gas MIG at my father in laws that I was going to use for the pipes. But thanks for the offer though. You can always come over and help me if you get bored :D hot side pipes are next on the list of things to mock up.

Did you have to remove anything to get the turbo to fit in its current place?

just had to move the coil pack 180 degrees and I'm bypassing my AC delete so there is no need for that anymore. The sway bar is off and the K got changed out for ease. The hard part about mounting it was making the bracket :D

yeah, the bracket looks like a very complex integration of angle iron, thats for sure.

yep. 3 pieces of angle, 1 piece of flat, and 2 lil triangles. it looks ugly as hell but that turbo isn't going anywhere :lol: I'm using whatever I find at my shop. Nothings better then free metal

I'm going to get the car on the ground and roll it back tonight so I can cram some stuff up in the attic and make some damn room. Then roll it back in and jack it back up. I may attempt to take the H pipe off and get some fitments in my head. I may start the down pipe part if I get everything else done. I usually quit around 10 at night.
