So does anyone know anything about the plastic little cases that they used on the explorers for the lifter dog bones. Why did they use those on them and not the metal dog bones? I am thinking about buying a set from Ford but need some more input or convincing before I do. I hear that they eliminate the chatter that the standard dog bones make. Dont know how true that is.

I've been running them for about 5 years now, after one of the stock dogbones popped off and destroyed a custom cam:( I would never go back to the dogbones, except for in stock applications. Fyi,I am running a retrofit cam in a '74 351 windsor block.
