My dad had one back when he was my age. He was over in Papua New Guinea for a couple of years working out in the jungle at large sawmill and used to off-road the crap out of his. I have pictures of him going through creeks, flying though mud, etc. with his. You can pick them up for $2-4k in decent condition (for a 30yr old car). They are rear-wheel drive also! They weigh around 2000 lbs. Stock motor is only 100hp though! lol

Those are pretty sweet. I had an '81 Dodge Challenger (basically a Dodge-badged Mitsubishi Galant) that was a 4cyl/5spd RWD car. It didn't weigh anything and it would actually go sideways really easy! I think i would rather have an old Datsan or RX-7 though.
