Fuel Pressure setting

Here's the combo,
89 notch:
typhoon upper and lower(edelbrock)
cobra maf,E303 cam,O/R h-pipe flows w/dumps,3:55 gears,19#fuel squirters,180 t-stat.Whats a good fuel pressure setting for this???

38-40 PSI with the vac line disconnected from the regulator is usually a good starting point, adjust up or down from there if needed....

To be honest and i hate to say it,but i have no clue what is needed or how to even tell.I have a Fuel psi gauge on the fuel line and ill set it to 38 like you said,But how do i know if its enough or to much?
