slicks

i was wondering if i can use the hoosier rs-03 as drag racing slicks. i found 2 sets for my 17/9s they are 245/45/17 and 275/40/17. will the 275's rub with my car being lowered and the wheel wells not being rolled?....thanks for any help

I bet your going to at least have to have the fender lips rolled..especially since you have the car lowered. Sorta just have to test fit them and see. I guess those are a road race tire....they will work better than street tires..but probably not as well as a drag radial. The side walls are very stiff..not the best for a drag launch.
