tensioner arm

i have a 96 3.8 and i need to replace the whole tensioner pulley assembly and i cant get it off. any ideas?

Remove the belt and then the one bolt that retains the tensioner

yea i had the belt off and the one bolt is the star bit (t-55) i even had a breaker bar it wouldn't budge.

anyway to get a pic of it? There should be a metric bolt or 2 to take it off. The star bolt is probably the one holding the spring cover in place. that would be bad to take off.

Yeah, there should be other bolts holding that on. I dont think the torx bolt is the one that actually holds in on. Ill have to look at mine tonight to see.
